THE PROBLEM OF UKRAINIAN-POLISH RELATIONS OF THE MODERN EPOCH

Abstract

The article actualizes issues and achievements of the modern Ukrainian and Polish historiography in the study of Ukrainian-Polish relations in the end of the XIXth – early XXIst cent. Particular attention is paid to the historical science interpretation of military and political confrontation in 1917–1921 and 1939–1951.
