ADMINISTRATIVE-TERRITORIAL REFORM OF THE 1990S IN THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND: CHALLENGES AND RESULTS

Abstract

The article analyses the reform of administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Poland in the 1990s. It has been established that realization of successive administrative, legislative and institutional changes by the Polish authorities led to the introduction of modern management system of the country and became a major factor in democratization of the Polish society.
